Steve Harmon is an average sixteen year old. In one class, he has been assigned to make a film which he has always wanted to do. He is looking forward to filming in his neighborhood, but what he doesn't know is that he will be in the wrong place at the wrong time and his life will change forever.

Sandra Petrocelli is the dedicated prosecutor. She is trying to put both Steve Harmon and James King in jail for the murder of a drug store owner. Sandra has evidence against both of them and is using those facts to pursuade the jury. She wants to get justice and find them both guilty.
Kathy O'Brian is Steve Harmon's Defense Attorney. Kathy is the only one that Steve looks forward to seeing. She has helped Steve so much in staying calm. She tells him when he is up on the stand to tell the truth and tell what actually happened.
Richard "Bobo" Evans is your every day bad guy. He is the one who is always looking for trouble and usually finds it. Bobo is currently serving a fifteen year sentence. He has no problem going on the stand to testify. He was part of the robbery and a witness to the murder.
